Natural and Organic DIY Sunscreen SPF 30

This recipe is absolutely amazing.  You won't be disappointed.   You can find all of these ingredients on amazon.com.  It's a bit pricey but I believe that living naturally and keeping chemicals away from my kids is worth every penny.  Feel free to improvise as you wish.  Enjoy!

1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup beeswax
1/4 cup jojoba oil  (you could also use almond or olive oil.  whatever you prefer)
2T. shea butter
1t. Vitamin E oil
2T. Zinc powder

Melt all ingredients except zinc powder in double boiler.  Once melted,  transfer into Mason jar or container you can put a lid on.  Add zinc powder.  Close lid and shake.  Be careful as it may be hot.  After zinc powder is mixed in, transfer into desired storage container.  I used these silicone ones, cause they are easy for beach and pool use but use whatever works best for you.  Have fun and enjoy!

"Unahi" Bangles by HinaJwlsHawaii

Just got these amazing 14k 12 gauge gold filled "Unahi" Bangles with Tahitian Pearls in from HinaJwlsHawaii.  Native shop owner Alana Lorenzo integrates Mo'olelo spirit into modern jewelry pieces that stand out from the crowd.  I bought these bangles to compliment the three other shell bangles I already own as I was looking to stack more together.  I searched for quite a while looking for something unique, since these types of shell gold filled bracelets are extremely popular right now and around every corner in Hawaii. Alana has so many amazing designs that it was hard to chose but I am so happy with these "Unahi" bangles and can't wait to add more to my collection.  She has a multitude designs available in gold and silver done on rings, earrings and bangles available with different types of embellishments like Tahitian or freshwater pearls.  Whether you are looking for something truly "Mo'olelo" and unique or something effortless for daily use, you must check out HinaJwlsHawaii on Etsy or @HINAJWLSHAWAII on Instagram.  Happy Shopping Hawaii!
